The material of the main body is made of flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) nylon resin which possesses heat resistance and tracking resistance and contains no harmful substances and the housing is made of high grade chloroprene rubber excellent in weather resistance and durability.
By combining with a Waterproof Connector Body 4224RW, it is possible to obtain dust proof and waterproof performance.
By covering the cable entry with a insulation cover (heat shrinkable type), waterproof performance can be improved.
Wiring method is "Crimping terminal" tightening the terminal screw on the side.
The grip that holds cable is made of polycarbonate resin with flame retardancy UL 94 V-0 specification, which makes it hard to scratch equipment, floor and wall.

Pass the cable through the grip and heat shrinkable tube in advance, connect wires to the body and mount the housing, cover the cable opening area with the heat shrinkable tube and shrink it using an industrial dryer or similar device, taking care to avoid damaging the cable. The shrinkage temperature of the tube is 130℃, the shrinkage starts from 50-60℃ and the tube shrinks to about of 1/2 of the indicated size. Finally, tighten the grip screw above the heat shrinkable tube to fix it.

This waterproof cover can be placed over the blades of a Waterproof Plug to keep it dust-proof and waterproof when not in use.
It is an IP65 compliant product that is protected against dust and water jets from all directions.
