CONNECTOR BODY FOR THICKER CABLE 30A

The Connector Body for Thicker Cable 30A is a Twist Locking 30A rated connector body that enables downsizing of thick conductor wires and cables.
Ideal for reducing current loss or as a countermeasure against voltage drop when long distance wiring is required, the conductor size of the wire can be easily changed by simply connecting the plug wired to the end of the wire and the connector.
Both the NEMA L5-30 compliant product and the NEMA L6-30 compliant product can be used to wire 8mm² and 14mm² wires.

The body is made of flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) nylon resin that is heat-resistant, tracking-resistant, and does not contain harmful substances. The outer housing and grip are made of flame-retardant (UL94 V-0 or higher) polycarbonate, an ultra-high strength resin with excellent impact resistance.
The wire connection is made possible by the most reliable "crimp terminal type" that is tightened by the terminal screw.
It supports a high level of conductor size reduction up to 14mm², making it larger than our 3314N-L5, which has the same 30A rating.

Attached Bushing tube for 8mm² wire connection

When connecting 8mm² wire, first pass the wire through the included bushing tube, and after connecting it to the main body, move the tube close to the product grip and tighten the grip.
