This is a device that is connected to the end of an electric wire and used for relaying in combination with a plug.
This connector body is ideal for reducing current loss at a high level or for voltage drop countermeasures when long distance wiring is required.
The body material is flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) nylon resin that has heat resistance and tracking resistance and does not contain harmful substances. The outer housing material is flame-retardant (UL94 V-0 or higher) polycarbonate, an ultra-high strength resin with excellent impact resistance.
The electric wire is connected using a "crimp terminal" by tightening the terminal screw.
Our 30A rated cord connector body can connect 2PNCT/VCT 3.5mm² or one size larger thick electric wire 5.5mm², but the oversized connector body can be used to connect conductor sizes up to 2CT/VCT 8mm² or 14mm².
When connecting 8mm² wire, first pass the wire through the included bushing tube, then after connecting it to the main body, move the tube close to the product grip and tighten the grip.
